DANCE EXAMS
HEDA is a member school of the International Dance Teachers’ Association, or IDTA. We use their syllabi in all genres and take exams through them. IDTA has a diverse range of genres, giving its teacher members the best of both- innovative and secure training, and flexibility to mould the syllabus to best fit their schools. Find out more below:
UNIFORM
We do not enforce uniform at HEDA, but we do recommend wearing uniform in our classes, to help enhance line, correct posture and enhance the atmosphere and discipline that come with dance. Children taking an exam will be required to have correct HEDA uniform.
We also sell personalised T-shirts through an external company. These can be ordered through the shop and personalised with your child’s name. We will handle the rest and will have it for you to collect in class.
All dance uniform including ballet shoes and tights can be purchased on Class Manager, and will be ready to collect in class. For tap shoes, we recommend styles for you to purchase yourself.
