Helena Elizabeth Dance Academy is a newly established dance academy in North West London, providing engaging classes for children and adults. Our aim is to provide a place where young people can thrive as their authentic self through a passion for dance, creating strong long-lasting friendships and building confidence and resilience. We believe dance can shape lives and not only help people become more active, but allow them a safe space to express themselves. We are a nurturing and friendly team who provide technical dance training whilst maintaining a fun and secure atmosphere where dancers can be their true selves.
WHAT WE OFFER
We currently offer weekly classes for ages 3+ in our 3 locations: Kensal Rise, West Hampstead and Maida Vale. Our classes include ballet, tap, modern jazz, street dance and more! We build basic dance technique through innovative and engaging methods, encouraging fun, imagination and energy.
We offer opportunities for students to take graded exams through the IDTA- we make the most of this adaptable syllabus to challenge our dancers whilst also building confidence and performance skills to suit the stage they are at in their dance journey.
We make sure to give our students performance opportunities, whether that’s parent watching week, presentation evenings or a whole school show (watch out 2026!). We love to take the opportunity to celebrate our students’ achievements and build that sense of community with our families.
We run classes during the term time, but we also run holiday camps during some school holidays to provide some much-needed entertainment and relieve some pressure from the grown ups!
